Punctures
A nail in the tread, inspected in Sevenoaks before anyone patches it
A slow hiss on a drive in Seal is not always a new tyre. If the wound is in the middle of the tread and the carcass is sound, a proper repair is cheaper and keeps the matching set. If it is in the shoulder, we will not glue it and hope.
On the ground
- Inspection before any plug or patch talk
- Repairs only where the damage sits in the repairable area of the tread
- We will not just get you home on a shoulder cut
- If a replacement is the only safe option, you get that quote on the spot
What people ask
Can every puncture be repaired?
No. Sidewall, shoulder, a previous botched plug, or a hole too wide: those need a new tyre. We would rather lose the repair than send you off on something that will open up on the A21.
How long does a repair take?
Once we are with you and the wheel is off, a straightforward tread puncture is a short job. Finding you at night is the part that varies.
