Kerb-side tyres
Stranded after dark on the A21 or M25 J5
Hazards on, rubber flapping, and a lane you should not occupy. That is a night job. We find you, make the ground safe enough to work, and put a proper tyre on so you are not waiting for a truck you did not need. Junction 5 of the M25 and the Polhill stretch are ordinary calls for us, not a novelty.
On the ground
- Pin what you can see: M25 J5, the A21 southbound, Riverhead roundabout — we use landmarks, not a postcode app that thinks you are in a field
- Night attendance is the point of the name, not an extra
- We will not tell you to crawl three miles on a shredded tyre to reach a depot
- If the rim is folded, we say so instead of hanging a new tyre on scrap
What people ask
Stay in the car or get out?
On a fast stretch of the M25 or A21, get behind the barrier if there is one. On a quiet Sevenoaks side street, staying with the car is usually fine. Tell us which it is.
What if you cannot change it there?
Hard shoulder with no room, a bent wheel, or a van blocking you: we recover instead. You hear that choice before we start the wrong job.
