A bike that is not being ridden home
Loading a motorcycle is a different trade from loading a car, and doing it badly is how fairings crack and levers bend. Straps and a ramp meant for bikes, with the weight taken where the frame is built to take it. Tell us what you are on, whether the front wheel still turns, and the address it should end up at.
How this one goes
- Front wheel chocked and soft straps over the bars, tightened enough and no further
- A flat on a bike is nearly always a collection rather than something fixed at the kerb
- Dropped at your address, a dealer, or the independent you have used for years
- Say at the start if it is a scooter, a loaded tourer, or something sitting very low at the front

Bike tyres want balancing and a bead that seats cleanly, and that is bench work. Moving the machine beats sending you off on a repair nobody has been able to check.
It came down and I am not sure what is bent.
Then leave it exactly where it is. It gets loaded as it sits, rather than you wheeling it somewhere more convenient on a fork that may be out of line.
