Once the scene is clear, the car still has to be moved
By the time we are any use, the part that mattered is over. Nobody here is a first responder and nobody here handles your claim. Take your photographs, get the other driver’s details, and ring when the car simply needs to stop sitting where it is. It gets loaded as it stands and taken to the address you name — home, a garage, or a body shop if one is already lined up.
How this one goes
- We hold off until the road is safe and an active scene has been cleared by the people whose job that is
- Winch and load matched to how the car is actually sitting, not to how the booking described it
- A receipt as a matter of course, so you have something to pass on to whoever is paying
- Where the only thing stopping you is a tyre and the car is otherwise sound, fitting one is the better answer
